Mad
About a time when I was wronged and mad because of it.

Pleasantries are nice,
But I don't want to be nice.
I'm mad as I can be,
I want the world to see.

I've been wronged,
So I'll sing my song,
For all to hear,
Then cry in my beer.

I've been led by the nose,
Certainly not what I chose,
My good intentions misread,
Regardless of what I said.

So, I'll go my way,
And only hope and pray,
I can meet someone new,
Who will share my view.
