The adrenaline sings
in the networks of my veins. It surges; unrepressed. It assaults me over again; pounding in my head, Writing over my thoughts with traces of power that now consume my body. I can’t think. My body tenses to run, and hopes of holding on to coherent thoughts are long lost as I let adrenaline control my every action.
