Discussion Topic

Wow!  This is a hard one—because they all confuse me.  I think I ‘get it’, and then someone mentions some Part of Speech in a review and my eyes glaze over and I start to panic.  I’m pretty sure about ‘nouns’ and ‘verbs’, and I’d say I’m okay about ‘conjunctions’ and ‘prepositions’—until you ask me a question about them.  A friend told me that I suffered from ‘grammaraphobia syndrome’—which will be a recognizable syndrome in a few years.  If I’m this stressed out from this first lesson, who knows what will happen in coming weeks.  But I’m determined to conquer this fear!  I mean, let’s face it, I’m NOT going to stop being afraid of snakes or heights, so I better get over this.
