THIS BROKEN HEART
Tailor-made suit, dark like the midnight sky. How dashing you looked, all I could do was sigh. I never was the graceful, lovely swan. Sinfully imperfect, always pale and wan. But, though I was born an ugly duckling-- Rough on the edges, probably a weakling. On that destined night, our eyes met, I knew Kindness and acceptance, they were both from you. Elated I was, thinking it was fate. Nobody told me everything was too late. How dare you use me, shattering my heart. Everything you did was just to play your part. A fool, I believed all your stupid lies. Repentance would be futile, I've become wise. Tricks would be useless, I've seen through your guise. Syllable Count: 10-11-10-11
