Sounds like you are doing great other than the dreaded comma thing. You have accomplished a lot in writing a book.
Having thorough knowledge of the whole grammar parts is a good and just goal to obtain. This should rightly be what we are all striving for in this class, and others we take. I am taking Get to the Point, and Get a Grip on Grammar classes, also. I needed all I could get.
I see what you meant by my goal being realistic; I see we do think alike. This is a common goal, probably. It should be!  I mean that to be an interjection. As is taught in my Grammar Class.
