A MOTHER'S LOVE

There is something sacred about a mother's love,
perhaps it is the way she has kept you in her heart
through all your growing-up years - when you thought
that she was really old, off her rocker, downright mean.
She never lost sight of the person you were meant to be.
A Mother's Love - is endless and bears all things.

There is something beautiful about a mother's love,
perhaps it is knowing without speaking the words -
that she loves you unconditionally, forever and always.
She has cried when you hurt, always proud of your gains.
She never lost sight of the person you were meant to be.
A Mother's Love - is endless and bears all things.

There is something eternal about a mother's love,
perhaps it begins with holding her newborn child, safe
in her arms, forming a bond that will never be broken.
She has brought life into the world that shines brightly
She never lost sight of the person you were meant to be.
A Mother's Love - is endless and bears all things.

And as women become mothers, the miracle of life
edges into their hearts, and they teach a new generation
where goodness, trust and love will once more become
the most important thing in their lives, never forgotten.
They never lose sight of the person you were meant to be.
A Mother's Love - is endless and bears all things.
