by : TSURTIDOGNI 050909 Saturday Love me now Not tomorrow Let me know While I'm living Tell me "I Love You" So I can know Your feelings my dearest Yes, and forever I treasure it. NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: A story behind this poetry. Inspired by the words of my nephew. He is the eldest son of my late brother who died suddenly without saying goodbye due to cardiac arrest. My nephew along with his siblings traveled from the city to our hometown for about three hours. They were not told that my brother died. They were told and picked up by their cousin with an instruction, "Tell them to come right away because their father had an accident" He went to the family altar and picked up the wooden cross and hugged it and was crying while having their trip in the middle of the night. When they arrived it was my father who met them at the front door and told them the sad news. My nephew hugged me with these most painful words, "Auntie, why did he leave when I was not able to tell him that I love him so much ! " I wrote this poem on October 14, 2003, the day after my brother died. I have to write the story behind the poetry as an advice to one and all, " tell your deepest feelings to the people you love, NOW ! before it is too late." I need to share the story behind this poetry as my deepest soul told me so. My nephew is now very successful in the field that he had chosen. He visited me last week and he brought along his girlfriend and he introduced her to me and he thanked me for all the prayers and for everything. Like my brother, my nephew loves to read my writings and he always motivates me to write some more telling me how he enjoys reading my works and he brings his friends along and tell them that I am his favorite aunt. When I am writing this I received a call from him that he is on the way to our place for a week-end fun at the beach. Surely my cheerful late brother must be very proud of him, and I love him so... GOD BLESS US ALL......
