The Sun and the Moon
The light of these celestial bodies promoting positive, fruitful thoughts about dreams.

The great recipients
Of the brightest lights in the sky,
The sun and the moon,
Are the harassed and heart-broken,
Soon-to-be-tested human beings
Trekking countless miles.
The sharp beams of light
From these celestial bodies
Radiate Nature’s instinctive qualities,
A glowing, contrasting brilliance
To the loss of innocence
That earthly existence demands –
Intimately-wrapped gifts
So truthfully examined and accompanied
By positive, fruitful thoughts
Of a happy, homeward-bound journey…
