Mother WDC
What is a mother? She encourages. She uplifts. She shelters. She supports. So who here on the net Can fill those “shoes” Who sends little notes Gives writing advice When I am alone with a saddened heart Who is here to listen To love the tears away To be open and caring If the internet is a virtual world Then the computer is our dad And the loving embrace of WDC Is a most nurturing mother She feeds us with kindness Entertains our friends Opens her heart and coin purse She even stays up late when we need her This is what my natural mother does Now that I am grown I miss how a mother loves And WDC makes me strong.
