Through My Eyes
Rated: E | Poetry | Other | #1559496
Frustrated with myself.
I see myself in my mind
As if it were your mind,
What I would think of you
If it were you living my life.
And I don’t really like you.
As a matter of fact I hate you.
I despise who you’re being
And you thinking it’s what God made you.
You live above rules.
You dance with the demons.
You avoid responsibility
And don’t think about my feelings.
You take what’s not yours
Then lie like I’ll believe you.
As you stubbornly continue
To let fear mislead you.
But I still hope you find truth.
I pray you get through this.
I wish you the best
And believe you can do it.
I know who you can be,
You’ve been so much more.
You’ve been the one person
That every person adored.
So take it as advice.
Take it your own way.
Just take the first step
And wash this pain away.
