15 years old. Yearbook Poem for high school.
A heart concealed from love and pain
Destroys any hopes of living free
It crumbles down to fall like rain
Instead of flowing softly like the sea
It creates a small emotion stirred
Then crashes madly from your mind
Your cries, an echo, never heard
Leaving you again, one step behind

A heart opened up to live your life
Diminishes depression from a heart concealed
And relieves all of the painful strife
With many more hopes that are revealed
It let you laugh, cry, and smile
So you can be heard again
Making your life much more worth while
Every day to eternity's end.
