My view and opinion on whether setting a bio is useful and whether or not it will draw more attention to my port:
I feel it is useful to set a bio up for my port. In reviewing other ports, it is the first place I visit. It allows one to get to know a little about the author before delving into their writing abilities. Another plus for setting up a bio is the opportunity to not only introduce yourself to other members, but those you feel need recognition for one reason or another. It is a good way just to say this is my friend, please look at their port too. It is a path to leading others to newly published WDC authors or those aspiring to be published.
