Rising Storm

The wind blows
Smell fresh rain in the air
Feel the tension as lightening strikes
and the thunder roars

The storm gets closer and closer coming at you
like a lion to it's prey the rain falls
the lions fangs come down
windy destruction coming down to take your home
horrible andbeautiful at the same time
the winds rise as the funnels come closer
hear the winds whipping and tearing as
you cower in your shelter

The winds have died and the rain has stopped
you fear what you might find when you come out
but you must leave and when you do you stare
in horror at the destruction then you turn and
hit your knees at the site of your home
completely gone but you rejoice that you are
still here they

When the rubble is cleared you come back to find
a single flower blooming where your once lived

So as the flower blooms in destruction and
the Phoenix rises from the ashes
you will rebuild from the rubble
