Comparing breadmaking to writing.

Making Bread - is somewhat like - Writing.

You pick the recipe - plot formation
select ingredients - characters
measure amounts - specify strengths and weaknesses
sift - prepare outline
mix - arrange personal interaction
add liquid - present conflicts
stir till smooth - resolve problems
knead - draw from memory plus resource material
turn into buttered pan - pull story together
allow to rest for awhile - temporarily put it away
paint beaten egg on top - elaborate certain descriptions
bake until done - arrive at a conclusion
admire your creation - proudly re-read
cool in breadbasket - correct spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, grammar
serve - review by readers

Difference being:

food disappears*Frown* - words are timeless.*Bigsmile*
