Forced Witness

                                            The Earth, Infinity's coddled project,
                                            glows a shameless blue before her skeleton stare.

                                            Luna is envious-- All ice and stark lifelessness.
                                            She has been cast away, the ugly stepsister,

                                            but she is not released.

                                            Tethers unseen unite siblings in a sea of night,
                                            an ocean of time.

                                            She would cry, but no tears can ever come.
