Mountain Meditation
A Nove Otto Poem

As I walk down this mountain side,
My relaxation cannot hide.
I breathe it in, it turns me on;
I walk away from all worry.
Taking breaths, my pain is buried.
My Xanadu, I feel like Khan.
I feel my breath begin to slow,
A place of solace I do go.
In this place I can't help but yawn.

My mind it slows, and does not race,
The pain dissolving from my face,
My mind moves like a gentle fawn.
This my place of solitude
Inside of me, I feel renewed.
I could sit 'til the break of dawn,
I do not move, I never would.
A more serene place has not stood.
This scene for me my mind has drawn.
