                   In a time of dispute and political uncertainty, knowing how to communicate dissent is necessary. I’m a recent college graduate and policy debater and have created a book proposal for Stand Up: Peaceful Protest Methods Handbook. I heard you speak on the podcast, Pen On Fire, and thought that you might be interested in my book.

                   Stand Up: Peaceful Protest Methods Handbook is a book that will provide a structured research tool for people who are interested in finding the right protest method. Through the use of descriptions and examples that display how certain methods can be utilized by the reader. My goal with this book is to inform protesters about the different options available. Stand Up will show that with the right tools and information anyone can protest.

                   I have a Bachelor’s of Integrated Studies from Weber State University. My areas of study include legal studies, English, art and a minor in communication. During my college years I competed on the WSU policy debate team, which involved research, writing, and defending policy options based on national topics. I also worked for The Signpost, WSU’s newspaper. One of my editorials received third place in the Utah Press Associations Annual Winter Convention and Better Newspaper Contest.
