Welcome to my Nightmare
A poem based on my typical nightmare.

Welcome to my nightmare,
Please, sit and have some tea,
Never mind the screaming,
It no longer bothers me.

Tonight you’ll meet my companions,
Demons, vampires, ghosts,
Stalkers with murderous intent,
(They’re the ones I fear the most).

So sorry if you are offended,
By the blood upon the floor,
The hanging corpse from the ceiling,
Or the spikes upon my door.

I beg of you to rest awhile,
Don’t be so quick to leave,
There’s no way out of this you see,
There’s never a reprieve.

Soon you will be running,
It happens this way each night,
They’ll torture you but take heart my dear,
It will be over with morning’s light.
