As She Passes By

She danced in time to music only she could hear
Her body swayed to the beat as she skipped across the air, 
in fact the truth be told, she was a delight to see
Though no one could catch a glimpse...no one except me

As she frolicked so free to the rhythm of Heaven
a giggle would escape her as a sweet melody
She moved and glided as if she didn't have a care,
she sang her songs of praise as she hovered in the air

I catch a peek now and then of her presence near
As she passes by I know it is her, that is clear
Though she does not stir the air and not a ripple she makes
I can see her beauty clearly by the pictures she paints

I only have to look above to know she is close to me,
Angels play the music that makes her dance so free

I sway to the beat of her silent laughter
singing in perfect rhythm to my heart
I feel her gentle breath and I can hear her whisper...

Someday Mommy, we will never be apart!
