God Made Me Special

God Made Me Special

God made me special, I'm not sure why,
but sometimes it makes my mommy cry.
He created us all as uniquely as can be,
so why do others pick on me?

God made me special, I've been told.
Mom prays for a cure, her head bowed and hands fold.
Will her prayers reach up to him,
will they ever find a cure for autism?

God made me special, this is true.
Help them God to learn what is new.
It's hard for people to understand
but for me, God has a plan.

I know I'm fine, just like I am,
despite the disease of autism.
God made me special, don't you see,
thank you God, for creating me.
