MEDITATION
Empty vastness, just nothing, Large vacuum all around; Silence total, yet, serene, But for occasional sound Of a bell ringing somewhere, Or, the chirping of a bird, Or, the rustle of a leaf, Or, a hymn from distance heard; Empty mind, fully alert, Free of all the entrapments; Enabling a flow inwards Of purest divine currents; Sensing pervading presence Of a cosmic consciousness, As if between nature and Me there’s a unique oneness; Enjoying eternal bliss, At the height of elation: This unique experience Is truly meditation. * Written in abcb 7-7-7-7 format. * Written as item 751196; substituted by entry 340709 in "FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL" M C Gupta 15 September 2003
