A little boy's eyes
A bedtime song I made up a long time ago for my sons

A Little Boy's Eyes

Rocking chairs and teddy bears and fairy tales galore,

With tiny hands, our little man, has opened each door.

A magic smile, and in awhile,

We come to see...

The world through a little boy's eyes

Puppy dogs, bugs and frogs,

"Can I please take them home?"

Laughter's song, the whole day long,

We're never alone.

So much to do, so much is new,

Love's light glows strong,

When it's shinin' in a little boy's eyes.

"Mommy, Daddy, Quick and come see, the world that is waiting for me"

Sleepy nights, come hold me tights

Sing me a song

Lullaby says close your eyes

When day's light is gone.

It's time for bed, prayers are said

Dream on and on

Dream now through a little boy's eyes.

'Cause we're laughing and we're loving and we're living through

A little boy's eyes
