Excel I must! but how?

Excel I must at that, which I know best,
Accepting that way will provide me rest.
Reminded that time is not on my side.
Lunging forward in haste, I stretch my stride.
Yearning still, I long to attain my goal.

Boldly wondering when this time will come,
I prepare for the rising of the sun.
Reveling in time for this I soon grasp,
Dogmatically, the early bird prevails.
