Boyhood
My little self-serving poem. Hey, as a teenager it's my duty to dramatize meaning.

Boyhood

He stared out
at the sea
Watching waves crest
and crash
Upon the rocks
of broken dreams

He tried again
In darker times
to see the beauty
of those cracks and lines
He grasped at pictures
trying to free
those feelings of
Serenity
From the web
of Memory.
Then, he tried
through poetry
As he utilized
his hand
a sigh
he knew that
This could not describe
His feelings for that great divide
Seperating
in each tide
a different kind
of peace to find

Of Photos
A picture says a thousand words
Of words?
Two can say the world.
