A Birthday Poem to my Mom
I wrote this in 2007 for my mom's birthday.

                             Carefully, you laid me in that bassinet.

                              Holding, my hand you lead the way.

                              Enough, you always made sure I had.

                              Ready always to be there when I fell.

                              You were always there to help me up.

                              Lovingly you helped me through my pain




                              Just being all you are was never enough for you.

                              Each and every day you are a friend to me.

                              Admiration on your face I see, when ever I would shine.

                              Nothing could compare to what you mean to me.
