Discussion Topic- Lesson Four
I have not memorized all the rules. I do go back and reread them if I have a question. And I’m sure I probably never will. The good thing is I have saved each lesson in a folder on my desktop, where I can access them easily. So eventually, I’ll have a better grasp on everything, just by checking the class notes.
Two weeks ago, I don’t think I would have been able to give this a fair answer. But I did several reviews yesterday, and I noticed (before I had read our discussion assignment) some things and corrected them—based on this class. I’m still abysmal about colons and semicolons, but even there were a couple of times were I really looked at them and considered if they were used correctly or not. (Whether I made the right choice—remains to be seen, however.)
I think I’ve caught a few ‘it’s’ that should have only been ‘its’…and at least I’m thinking about punctuation more. I’m considering my options more.
I know this is short, but I decided you’d rather that than me just repeating myself. I feel kind of like a grade-schooler that has to do so many pages and I’m writing bigger and bigger, and making the margins wider and wider. Sorry.
