The stranger.
The rain murdered the quiet night. Stepping out of a dark lane, a tall figure tipped the rain from his hat, then lit up a cigarette. Staring up at the apartment window, he waited patiently for the lights to go out. Smirking and taking his last drag, it was now time to take his revenge.
