God’s wildflowers

Will you grant me enough time
to be your all in all?
And push me to a precipice
where, laughing, we can fall?

All praise and worship factored
and sin does not pertain.
Love undeterred by limits,
like thunderclouds and rain.

I am just an animal
and you an angel graced.
Yet still I crave sweet parity,
communion I can taste.

Come, invade my senses,
I’ll invade your own,
our trial leads to the meadow
where God’s wildflowers are sown.
