You drifted in on an autumn leaf,
and we didn't know what to think. Trailing devastation and excitement like a ribbon you flooded the walkways with noise. Don't wanna be like you! I can hear the clang of inevitability. You're like electricity, (no one loves electricity) you're the spark of change. And I'm staring down the barrel of a gun and I don't know what I'm doing and I know that you won't come. You're like a tidal wave, swept me fully off my feet. I'll try to swim, I'll try to float, don't want the rocks and me to meet. You're like a tidal wave, and I don't know if that's bad or if it's good but I'm gonna miss your flood.
