Daddy don’t you find it sad,
That when we walk out the door,
We figure your not there anymore?
Daddy don’t you find it terrible,
I know those that cry themselves to sleep at night?
Daddy don’t you get upset,
When we forget about you?
Daddy don’t you find it terrifying,
That we hate more than we love?
Daddy don’t you find it sickening,
That your world keeps getting worst?
I see the wicked,
In the brightest of lights,
And I live with the nightmares,
In the midst of the dreams,
Daddy wont you help us please?

Daddy don’t you find it sad,
That my friends can’t find your love?
Daddy don’t you find it terrible,
That we lose those who are close to us?
Daddy don’t you get upset,
When they have never heard your name?
Daddy don’t you find it sickening,
Were getting attacked every day?
Im on the battle field,
With all of my friends,
Picking up their shattered pieces,
Even some of my own.
Im living with the heavenlies,
Battling out this war,
That we can’t even see.
Daddy won’t you save us please?

Daddy don’t you find it sad,
We can’t find our way?
Daddy don’t you find it terrible,
Were getting beat everyday?
Daddy don’t you get upset,
When we lose all hope?
Daddy don’t you find it sickening.
That we deal with all these hardships?

Daddy don’t you find it sad,
Were dealing with all this hurt and pain?
Daddy don’t you find it terrible,
We don’t help each other?
Daddy don’t you get upset,
That we put each other down?
Daddy don’t you find it sickening,
We don’t care to say
Were in so much trouble daddy,
I know that’s what you see,
Daddy will you please help us,
Daddy wont you help me?
Daddy make me a better friend,
Help me to live this life,
Help me to win this battle,
Help me to find a shield!

Daddy help us through the pain,
Help us through the hardships,
Help protect us in our darkest hour
Give us the armor you have so promoted,
Please show us your hope,
Shower love upon us,
For this world we live in does not.
Show us that in this world we live in,
There are good things,
That our world is not all,
Abuse, neglect, hurt, shame, and power.
Help us to see your promises,
Through all that is being done to us,
For we are on the battle field,
We go through the battle,
We are caught in the middle
Of Good and Evil,
We deal with sin up to our chins,
We are being whispered and bribed to,
We are being pulled left and right.
Daddy please show us the way,
Please show us the light,
Please help us through this
So called life.
Daddy save this world
And all that inhabits it.

Daddy Please.
