Undelivered We held close. His lips on my cheek. My breath froze-- Why was I so meek? I can't be this weak. He met with my lips. Could I stop my grip? I shivered-- He left with a slip. Undelivered. The syllabic count is 3 and 5. A Reverse Cinquain poem is written with a syllabic count. So, mine is: 3/5/3/5/5 then 5/5/3/5/3.
