A long day today, a smile made it worth it
the sun was shinning bright, now the stars are beautiful this summer night. The wind sings a song and dances in my hair. The moon plays tag with the stiffenened lake. I hope the dog doesnt wake, he barked up a storm this happy 'noon. Those kids almost broke the tire swing, I think I'll make lemonade in morning. The new neighbors should expect a pie, their baby, yes oh can that one cry. Life in the country is but a dream an oasis from the city lights. Here nature takes it's course, over there technology illuminates with such cohorts. The night so silent, perfect at that. It'll be a long day tommorow, a smile will make it worth it
