THE REAL YOU

I awoke this morning in my usual grumpy
mood, but I knew something was
amiss: I could now see your aura!!
You've been sleeping with
your laptop for too long--I told you
so!! I saw a field of multicolored
radiation circling your cute face,
with all 5 of our little cats
staring and pawing at you,
in amazement! They could see
it too!! Imagine their shock at
seeing their daddy in a
halo--sort of like a swirling Christmas
tree, without the tree, and just the lights!.
(The halo wouldn't surprise them--they already think
he walks on water--that's why
they want to get into the shower
with him. . . .) This sight of you in a bright
halo doesn't surprise me, either--that's
the real you that I've always loved!
