Joseph's Coat
in memory of Susanna Springer Card clean wool. Spin it loose or tight. Dye yarn rainbows or leave them natural shades of white, of beige, of black. Bring back old mem'ries of a soft caress, of alpaca fleece, the felted warmth that wicked from skin. What woven shroud will hold your aura now. What loud refrain will fade as beauty fades, as what was birthed from earth and sky, a double weave, once blessed, returns to warp and weft, the spirit cloak, that never will unravel nor betray. © Kåre Enga [166.77] 2009-06-06 Note to self: earlier version in "166.77* Joseph's Coat 1570658"
