I was blind, you stepped into my life
And gave me 20/20 vision I saw such wonderful sights Then this love like a snake, it twisted Saw everything i didn't want to see. The sights hurt me. I was deaf, you stepped into my life And gave me sonic hearing I heard such beautiful sounds. Then this happiness like a train, it came to an abrupt halt Heard the sounds of tears, Something i never thought. I was mute, you stepped into my life And gave me the voice of an angel Sounding so sweet to me. Then my heart, like a toy, you broke My voice piercing the silence that surfaced our weakrned home. And now whats left, days And nights to much to regret I wanted to see, I wanted hear, longed to speak.
