Soldiers Forgotten, Soldiers Forever
I wrote this after listening to Dragonforce's "Soldiers of the Wasteland"

Walking on, endless days,
never stopping, forgotten names.
Ghosts of battle, warriors disappeared,
never to die, never to be returned.
No trace of existance, not even a grave,
just the sound of their breath, fading away.
Missed dearly, or hardly known,
they know not, as they grow old.
Lost in the darkness, blinded by snow,
deeper into the fog they must go.
Marching fast, slaying all,
bravest of men, tallest of tall.
Never to fall, never to quit,
their war is over, but they never knew it.
Dead in battle, but live at heart,
refusing to lose a battle, that they never did start.
