Let us start with my country
The Philippines, to many
Discovered in the year 1521
By a Portuguese sailor named Magellan.

Philippines, the Pearl of the Orient Seas
Noted for its wonderful white beaches
Popular for its great hospitality
People are always warm and friendly.

We shall all go to SPAIN, "OLE !"
Bullfight is the game for everybody
The sunny place of Don Quixote
1926, a book by Mcmillan Company.

Madrid, Asturias, Barcelona
Wonderful Senor and Senora
There are also lovely senoritas
With a handsome senoritos to match.

May I bring you to France ?
The Eiffel Tower that everyone wants
Including the Louvre Museum
That houses expensive collections.

The story of Joan of Arc
A lady that leaves a mark
Saint Bernadette of Lourdes
A lot of miracles occured.

A Soviet Republic called a vast country
Russia, where Peter the Great used to stay
A czar was an emperor so powerful
In the olden days was feared by people.

A nation of artists and writers
Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina
There are also known chess players
Games of the mind and the ballerina.

Kremlin, the important feature
A fortress, you can picture
Russia is famous for its great men
Krusnev, Gorbachev, cannot be forgotten.

The little country of Holland
Known as the Kingdom of Netherlands
Windmills, tulips are so precious
Making a lot of people wonder and curious.

The people are called Dutch or clean
The place is also famous for its men
Rembrant lives in everyone's memory
An artist whose works I wish to see.

England or Great Britain is so wealthy,
Natural resources are so many
A very colorful history
Including the lovely Lady Di.

London is a very busy city
Parliament buildings beside the Abbey
The Big Ben, the world famous clock keeps ticking
The question today, Who will be the future king ?

United States of America, my dream country,
A land of milk and honey, they all say
Before, the color of the skin was a big matter
Today, any color is something to cheer !

The men in history includes Columbus,
Lord Baltimore, Henry Hudson were also famous
Large farms, important rivers, rich highlands
There's so much beauty and wealth abundance.

America stands for democracy !
A highly admired advocacy
Americans are courageous and industrious
Great men and women, born with purpose.

America a land of freedom and opportunity
A land where human rights are respected by everybody
A very powerful nation that I longed to see
And in my list, my top priority.

I wish to step the busy streets of New York City
To be impressed by the tall buildings and modernity
To be awed by the great Statue of Liberty
To be amazed by the flock of people so busy.

I also wish to visit the White House in D.C.
To spend a memorable time with the First Family
Oh, I don't have the money as of today,
Surely tomorrow, the Lord provides me.

I dreamed once that I went to the Congressional Library
So huge and hundred of miles of books on array
A magnificent dream I touched each book all the way
A dream so vivid, it lives in my memory.

The song, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco"
This place I wish to visit too
I believe this is a very wonderful place
In everyone's heart nothing can replace ?

When I will go to America I will visit the flea market
Where all the traders are going to meet
I really have a great expectation
That such wish will be happening soon.

How about the Hollywood ? Yes , I would !
A warm handshake to the artists I should !
I wish to meet the "Pretty Woman", Julia
I also wish to meet the brilliant OPRAH.

Another place, the people they call Swiss
Neutral and lovers of peace
Switzerland where one can find the best chocolate
Hwm...Right now, I really want to eat.

The alps, that means green summer pasture,
Abundant is fresh green grass and flowers for sure
And who can forget William Tell ?
Brave, courageous and so well.

The Swiss love of country exist
Forever will be their great asset
Zurich, Geneva, are known cities
Noted for their watches and industries.

Someday I will be there for a holiday
To visit my friends Andrea and Gabi
I love these Traber family
Who are always true to me.

Let us all take a trip to Germany
A lot of wonders to see
Munich, Hamburg, Berlin known to the world
Fabulous, I was told.

Kindergarten, Verboten, German word I learned
Good looking men and women are fair-skinned
Germany, the Vaterland and east of Switzerland
As well as Belgium and the Netherlands.

Do not forget to visit Japan
The land famous for the Rising Sun
Cherry Blossoms, Sake, Ikebana, Tempura
Nihonggo, "Anata wa namai desu ka ?"

Their languages fascinates me
Their customs and traditions are many
I believe Japan is a beautiful country
Like the word, Moshi-Moshi.

The world is so big to explore
The truth is I wish to write some more
Possibly I may request everybody
To please add your own entry.

The wide ocean, the vasts of land,
Beyond the hills, across the seas

Another wonderful place to see
CANADA, a very beautiful country
A Captivated Soul, and Funnyface
They belong to the Canadian Race.

I sing as I wish upon a star
CANADA, I will be there, where you are
I gladly give a smile to your people
Whom I believe are all adorable.

I received a review from a great author
Deemac is the handle, a moderator
I love the  lines, to you deemac, I salute
The next stanza is so wow ! so cute !

"Hello from Ireland, the Emerald Isle
Where people greet you with a smile
Its hills and valleys rich and green
Friendliest land you've ever been."

Tonight as I sleep surely I will have a dream
In visiting these places that I had never been
I will kiss the soil every first step that I make
To show my love as well as my respect.

An angel from a far away land
The country is New Zealand
The name of this angel is Vampyr 14
I wish to be her friend.

In her port she mentioned buying a lottery ticket
I wish her to win and possibly we will meet
Here in our country, the Philippines
And for her to gain more Filipino friends.

I share with you her poetry
So wonderful and interesting to me
I also wish to visit this country
Someday, someday, someday.

"Far away across the sea,
Is a tiny country:
New Zealand, Abel Tasman named it,
Although Captain Cook soon came and claimed it.

Aotearoa, land of the long white cloud,
The Maori live here, strong and proud.
Isolated, but clean and green
It's a place that few have been."

I received a review from Sid,
A review that's well-said
Sid, is a Rising Star and surely a well-traveled author
To a lot of places, loves to explore.

May I share with you three stanzas so nice
I find the words so wise :

"And then we go to England
greatest place you've ever been
if you can hear over the din
of the rain that goes a rattlin..

Next on the list is Wales
watch the boys play with the sails
and watch out for the killer whales
and children on beaches with their pails.

Last but not least we have lovely Prague
the most beautiful place, even in fog
Buildings being made of wonderful log
it's the most beautiful place, dear sweet Prague."

I find him a brilliant writer who writes with great creativity
He wisely and nicely  added a stanza
About this great country called Australia.

"Australia invites all sorts and types
into its earthy, warm embrace.
Our mountains glow and cities grow,
home to a young and eager race."

A review and in the review are wonderful  lines
From the far away land where there are good looking Iranians
Yasaman Kardazy is the name of this brilliant poet
The stanzas being added are truly great.

"Iran, the ancient land in history,
From Cyrus, Darius, the Great kings,
Nurturing such rich poetry,
of Khayyan, Rumi, and what Hafez sings
of love for God and humanity.

Persia, as once it was called,
Once the land of Freedom and Peace.
Now captive in the hands of fraud
Of killer enemies but we won't cease."
