Family Reunion


Grandma, full of sweetness and light
Five aunts, as many uncles dear,
A dozen cousins, siblings, pets, favored friends
The huge oak splendidly full of tasty delights.

The night was young, the moon on the high
The calm sea glistened, fond voices ringing on the wind
The group moved on to the moonlit lawn of Cupid and Venus
Relaxed minds, joyful faces, family reunion of love and memories.
