On the Fourth of July
We celebrate freedom Waving banners on high. The red, white and blue flag Flying there in the sky. On the Fourth of July We think of our soldiers As they serve us with pride. To preserve this freedom Many suffered and died. On the Fourth of July A day of reflection Of battles that were fought On shores so far away Where liberty was bought. On the Fourth of July The birth of our nation We should thank God above For freedom we cherish And this country we love.
