The Fog rolled over The Village
Covering every tree and leaf It hid all of the landmarks. You couldn’t see What Lies Beneath. It pricked some imaginations Creating panic all around. Some felt that Hocus Pocus And witchcraft was in town. The Sixth Sense of all the townsfolk Could not totally be ignored, When ghosts and spooks and goblins Loudly sighed, and groaned and roared. But, before you draw conclusions About this scary sight, Perhaps I should just tell you It is Halloween tonight!
