Two Reasons to Cheer
"You know," Doctor Almeida said from behind the surgical mask he still wore, "today's technology is wonderful, but it doesn't always tell us everything." A huge ball of ice instantly formed in my stomach. "What's wrong?" I croaked. "Oh, there's nothing wrong." His eyes smiled. "You're just the father of undiagnosed twins. Happy Father's Day!"
