Lisa was always interested in Asian objects though she was middle class American. Her apartment was a shrine to Buddhism ad Hindusism. She fet it was a more peaceful way of life. She was a social worker and saw a lot of evil. One day her Supreme Being told her to go shopping on a long lunch. She went down a road she'd nverbeen before to see what she could find. She came across Alice's Curiosity's Shop. It sounded intriguing.A woman Karen elcolmd her to the store. She wa greated ar first with a calico cat with the greeenest eyes she'd ever seen. A woman, Karena, welcomed her to to her to the store.I
"Feel free to wonder around. I'm sure you'll find something you'll find something you need." The word need seemed off to Lisa but she was fascinated by the store. She particularly liked the snow globe, and a brown scallaoped jar. A teapot shaped like a dragon drew her like a magent. It would found fit her decor. She could have tea with friends or by herself at evening. She had just the the right tea. She had sold it to herself. She looked for Karena but coudn't find her. The cat lurched toward her from behind the curtan of the back room as Lisa called for Karena. ""Yes, I'm Alice. What can I do for you? "I'd love to have to have that teapot." ""Are you sure?" "Yes, I love Asian things. It will go well with my apatement" "Oh, that will be $25. Will that be okay.?" "Yes. I'll pay with my card." "That's fine. We assume most people pay with with cash." Alice wrapped it up in tissue and put it in a box. Lisa left wondering why she never saw ths store before. She decided on oolong tea te when she got home. She bleached the teapot when she got home since she got it second hand. She set soothing music on and put teabags in the teapot and put her favorite teacup in front of her on her coffee table. She planned on making a few phone calls that night. She poured herself a cup. She drank a cup. It tasted heavenly and made her feel tranquil but herself. Then she began to feel powerful. She walked around her room and gazed at her foreign objects. She became one of them. She grabbed her saboteur sword amd disemboweled herself. Boold puddled around the broken teacup, but the dragon teapot seemed to gaze at her.
