DOING GOOD! They say "do unto others, as you'd have done unto you--" so, I set off to donate, taking only my old shoes. My boss, to help the city, gave us a workday off-- I'm not sure what he thought that I could do, I loudly scoffed! But, I hit the homeless shelters looking for the hero seat-- I'm not quite certain why, but I served hot food to eat! Then a man spied my old shoes, with longing in his eyes-- I handed them to him, and stood staring while he cried! My boss proved to be right-this was a diamond in the rough to help those silent others who have their lives so tough!
