Just a little past noon in the middle of the day
Expecting a miracle, Your Mommy bowed her head to pray
Resting after labor, she was quiet for a spell....
Except for the pain, your delivery went very  well
My dear little son, with your black curly hair
I will love you forever  and give you the best of care.
And I'll teach you everything that you ever need to know
However I'm not perfect, and sometimes it's sure to show.

Could you please forgive me, if I ever fail to see
A little impishness is part of life in any "fam-o-lee."
Love your Daddy and I, we will show you about God's love
Eternal life is a blessing that is promised from above...
Be sure to be the best that you can be, it's my prayer for you today
and throughout eternity.


I have written this Acrostic Poem for our Second Great Grandson who was born June 23,2009, in the hills of Tennessee....We can't wait to see you and give you lots of hugs and kisses..little Jeremiah, We love You!
