Lack of Talent

A man encouraging a woman to continue onward.

Woman: I'm awful.

Man: You're wonderful.

Woman: I'm terrible.

Man: You're incredible.

Woman: I'm useless.

Man: You're brilliant.

Woman: They hate me.

Man: They just don't know you.

Woman: They won't give me a chance.

Man: Then show them you deserve one.

Woman: I should give up.

Man: You're talented, don't waste it.

Woman: They don't see it.

Man: But I do.

Woman: You're just being nice.

Man: No, you're really very talented.

Woman: So, one person thinks I'm talented and the rest of the world won't even say either way? I should give up.

Man: Never give up. All you need is one person to believe in you.

Woman: I don't even believe in myself.

Man: Then start believing.

Woman: I'm hurt.

Man: Then use it.

Woman: I'm scared.

Man: Who isn't?

Woman: I can't.

Man: You will.

Woman: But how?

Man: You'll find a way. Just don't give up.

Woman: (Silence.)

Man: Just do it, and don't ever stop.

Woman: .....Okay.
