"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever."
~Jacques Cousteau

The Vast Sea

Sea's wonders
Unseen
Lurk below:

Postcard clear water,
Fish nets, and
Thick pressurized glass.

Beyond oxidized
Metal; suicidal, on
The abyss's edge.

Dark secrets
Breathless
Mysteries

Beneath the sun's reach;
Lights dissolve
Unforeseen beauty.

Glimmering fragments
Unearth obsessive searching;
Instilling madness.

Puzzling
Queries
Unknown truth.

Lungs weaken; bending
Desire's
Investigation.

Seductive data,
Reveals endless pursuing;
Never concluding.
