Each morning when I wake,
A few moments I take To listen to the melodious notes of songs. A blend of shrills and trills, Of warbles so surreal As many songbirds join the happy throngs. They love to start their day At the Old Bird-watch Café Twittering chirped hello’s to all around. The music that I hear Brings happiness and cheer To my morning as I listen to this sound. It has become a part Of joy to my heart To wake to conversations made by birds. Though all don’t share my joy And some these sounds annoy It's the most soothing noise, I’ve ever heard. 18 lines
