This I Believe

I believe in the Bible, God’s Holy word.
I believe reading the pages, my spirit is stirred.
I believe in my Savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ.
I believe His blood bought me, at the ultimate price.
I believe in this country, and I defend it with pride.
I believe in the soldiers who served, and who died.
I believe in our flag-in the red, white, and blue.
I believe in the freedoms that we all can pursue.
I believe that we should treat all equally.
I believe that all people deserve to be free.
I believe in the union of a husband and wife.
I believe that this union should last all your life.
I believe that our children are gifts from above.
I believe that these children are given to love.
I believe that for all things there’s a time and a place.
I believe that I am still here by God’s saving grace.
I believe that all people should believe as they choose.
I believe this even if we don’t agree in our views.
I believe quite steadfastly in your right to believe.
I believe this a right that we all should perceive.
