Worry
Religious poetry. Worry...what does it gain?

Has worry every caused you
To spend long, sleepless nights?
Has worry brought you sorrow
And caused you lots of frights?

Our Father, God in Heaven,
Will supply all your needs.
He tells us so in Scriptures.
His words, we should heed.

He tells us not to worry;
He'll take our load of cares.
Have faith in Christ, our Savior.
Our burdens He will bear.

Does worrying solve the issue?
Can worry stop your woes?
The answers to these questions
Are strong, emphatic "no's"!

So trust what He has told us;
Don't let worry rule your mind.
Put God's work before all other things,
And, peace on earth you'll find.
