Blessings come to all of us
God shares them everyday. We take some of them for granted, And, for others we often pray. They come in all kinds of packages Both big and small ones, too. Sometimes they're unexpected. Or, we think they're overdue. He gives us blessings daily; Like sunshine, rain and flowers. Sometimes, they're full-blown miracles That show His awesome powers. Just look at your environment Whatever it may be. And, you can see His mighty hand At work in all you see. For who can fashion summer; Or hang the moon so bright; Or make a roaring ocean; Or stars to shine at night? And, who can heal a sickness; Or cure a world of care; Or create a baby in the womb; Or give answers to our prayers? The answers to our questions Are simple and well-known. These blessings come from God above In Heaven on His throne. He gives to us, His children, The very air we need. What do we give Him in return In thought, and word, and deed? 32 lines
